Airstream Remodel

When in doubt, throw it out!

Today's post is brought to you by... plastic gloves, dust masks, and crowbars.

Everything needs to come out, even if we plan to put it back in.  Among all the 1970s era yellow plastic and wood, we found some interesting items including: three pairs of reading glasses, a dragon knife, a wallet, about $5 in change, and the original owners manual.  Turns out, the first owners are from the same little town as Dan!

Inside a 1974 Airstream...and what we are starting with.

This slideshow shows the layout of the 1974 Overlander twin in clean restored condition.  Our Airstream currently shares this layout, but not for long!

It's been helpful to see how all the pieces fit together, and has inspired our plans for the future layout of our Airstream.

Here's some pictures and videos of other finished Airstream remodels, we're looking to do something similar!
